With Christmas only 32 days away (as of the publishing of this post), I find myself on ten, and little frustrated with what gifts to buy for family and friends.
On one hand I hate to be materialistic and go into debt trying to please everyone, but on the other hand, I want to make sure the people I care about know that I care about them.
Many of my girlfriends are natural like myself, so a gift that helps them on their hair journey is always well received. If your struggling to find that perfect gift, I’ll give you some ideas.
Here’s a list of gifts I’ve bought and gifts I’m going to buy for some of my sisters this holiday season.

What Makes a Great Natural Hair Gift in 2018?
The one thing that doesn’t change for naturals in comparison to everyone else is the old saying that everyone knows; it’s the thought that counts.
In my experience this is always true and anyone that can’t appreciate the fact that you actually put thought into buying something that would add value to their life, isn’t the person you should spend your time with.
Stuff is just stuff when it boils down to it. What really matters… what TRUELY matters is our relationships.
In this whole process of giving and receiving if we lose sight of our relationships than we have failed.
The holiday season isn’t the only time we should reach out to friends and family to let them know we care… But it is a definite reminder that we should value the people in our life.
We should look for ways to bring value to theirs.
And… more often than not, it’s not in the form of a gift we buy, but our time. The time we give to build our relationship and enjoy them.
Let me what you guys think. Are these some good gifts ideas? What do you plan on giving this season?
